Claude Monet (1840 - 1926) painted the waterlilies in his garden in Giverny, a village north of Paris. The paintings are quite large, and can be seen today, in the round, in the newly remodeled Orangerie Museum in the center of Paris.
The satin stripes in this silk chiffon scarf give it a subtle sheen. The hem is finished with a bourdon stitch.
Made in France.
