Claude Monet (1840 - 1926) painted several versions of the waterlilies in his garden in Giverny, a village north of Paris.
This scarf is based on the 1897 version of the series, also known as "Pink Waterlilies".
The satin stripes in this silk chiffon scarf give it a subtle sheen. The hem is finished with a bourdon stitch.
